We're moving to Colorado this weekend. And I'm fired up about it.
For my last morning commute I took a ride around the lakes. Hard to beat.
But it is hard leaving the scene here in Minneapolis. The cycling community and infrastructure here are absolutely incredible. And it was in Mpls where I really got hooked. Being a bike rider is now much more fundamental to who I am.
Minnesota also opened me up to a whole new genre of riding. The Almanzo, Lemming, Dirty Benjamin - those were my first tastes of gravel. How lucky for me to live in the cradle of postcard-entry racing.
I tip my hat to Minneapolis and to Minnesota. Our last 13 years have been an awesome adventure. We'll forever be in your debt.
